Hydrocut Products May Cause Liver Injury

The FDA is directing that all persons stop the use of Hydroxycut, a supplement used for weight loss. http://www.fda.gov/oc/opacom/hottopics/hydroxycut/faq.html. Hydroxycut products are dietary supplements and contain a variety of ingredients. Liver injury may resolve, but liver failure can also occur. The symptoms of liver failure may become apparent several months after you have stopped taking Hydroxycut. Symptoms will include Jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), brown urine, vomiting, light-colored stools, unusual tiredness, weakness, stomach bloating, itching and loss of appetite.
